Something Something Broncos Podcast, Episode 44

Laurie, Jess and I look at the next five games and wonder how many wins will it take to feel good about this team on the other side.

Here are the Denver Broncos next five games.

  1. at Minnesota Vikings (7-3)
  2. at Buffalo Bills (6-3)
  3. vs Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)
  4. at Houston Texans (6-3)
  5. at Kansas City Chiefs (6-4)

That is a gauntlet of games under the best of times. No one would classify these times as good, much less best.

Laurie, Jess and I discussed this brutal stretch, among other things, on our latest episode of Something Something Broncos. My question to them was simple - how many wins in the next five will make you feel good about the team heading into the future?

Personally, I settled on two. Two and, as Laurie put it, how they play in the games they (may) lose. If they win a couple and play the other teams tough, then that is definitely something you can build on.

What do you think Broncos Country?

How many wins in the next five would be enough to make you feel encouraged heading into 2020?
