If you are seeing YELLOW in your region in the map above, you will get the Broncos-Bills game on your local CBS affiliate. The game will not be broadcast in Alaska and Hawaii this week. Kevin Harlan will call the game with Rich Gannon as the analyst and Jay Feely doing the sideline reporting.
Against the Buffalo Bills, it will be all about containing Josh Allen and the running threat that Bills offense possesses. With one the NFL’s top ranked run defenses, the Denver Broncos might be well suited to contain that offense and keep this a low scoring affair.
Head Coach Vic Fangio is trying to change the culture of the team and return it to its former glory. When asked about the direction of the team and its outlook for the future, Von Miller is liking what he sees and is hopeful the changes begin to translate into some wins soon.
“Honestly, simply the energy that we have, the type of players that we have and the type of coaches that we have,” Miller said this week. “It’s just a matter of time before we become a great team again. Great coaches and great players usually equal success. I’m still waiting for that, hoping for that and I know that it’ll happen for us.”
We’re all waiting for that, but you can see the beginnings of something special here - especially on defense. The key will be whether or not John Elway will make keeping the defense together a priority heading into the 2020 season. For now, the team just needs to start winning some games.
Kickoff is set for Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Mile High time at New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York.
