The Denver Broncos completely choked away what could have been a signature, franchise turning point win last week against the Minnesota Vikings. They are now on the road again against the 7-3 Buffalo Bills.
However, this 7-3 team is not like the last one. The Bills have secured all seven of their wins against teams with a combined 13-47 record, while two of their three losses are against teams with a .500 or worse record. In fact, the only team with a winning record they have played in 10 games has been the New England Patriots.
Not exactly a team that has proven it is a contender over a pretender. The Broncos could add them to the pretender category on Sunday with a win.
Game Preview
This game features strength against strength as the Bills are a run-first team and the Broncos defense is an elite run stopping unit. On the other side, the Bills have an elite pass defense. However, the Broncos are not going to want Brandon Allen to throw them to victory. Instead, it should be a run-heavy approach from Denver here.
In a game matchups, it sure looks like Denver has the advantage on all fronts. The big question is whether or not they will execute for four quarters in front of a hostile crowd. That is something this team has proven it has not been able to do.
Here is how to watch.

Odds
The Broncos odds look a heck of a lot better this week than they did last week. It would seem that Vegas isn’t too big of a believer in the Bills either. The home team gets a three point advantage right off the bat, so with the Bills at just 3.5-point favorites here it would seem Vegas feels these two teams are evenly matched.
Matchup History
The Broncos and Bills have a long and storied history. Denver started out with a 3-1-1 record against the Bills way back in the AFL days before things went south for a decade for the Broncos. Overall, the Broncos are 16-20-1 against the Bills, but most of those losses came prior to 1970. Since then, the Broncos own a slight 11-10 advantage over Buffalo.

Fan Sentiment
Despite the loss last week, Broncos Country is still liking the direction of the team more so than when Joe Flacco was quarterbacking them to losses. It certainly feels like this team is close to turning things around. They just need a quarterback they can believe in.
