The Denver Broncos are playing the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13. Here are your live updates for this game.

Live Game Updates

Pre Game

The Denver Broncos have decided to move forward with an eye on the future as rookie second-round pick Drew Lock will get his first NFL start against the Los Angeles Chargers. There are rumors out of Los Angeles that Philip Rivers could be playing for his job in this game too.

It would be bitter sweet if the Denver defense ends forcing Rivers to the bench for the first time in his career, especially if it means Lock ends up with his first win as a starting quarterback.

Expect Denver to keep the ground game strong. As Andrew Mason noted in a thread early on Sunday, Rich Scangarello has quite a record of success in first-time starting quarterbacks. They have a cumulative passer rating of 110.9 in three first-time starts by quarterbacks and in all three contests the offense featured a heavy rushing attack.

Outside of that, it would be nice to see Lock get some deep shots down the field to Courtland Sutton as well.
