The Denver Broncos are on a two game winning streak and just went into Texas last week to put a beating down on the Houston Texans. None of that matters, because the Kansas City Chiefs are getting every break and every call coming off their own road upset over the New England Patriots. Denver heads into Arrowhead on Sunday a full 9.5-point underdog.

I have good news, though. They opened 10.5-point underdogs and the line has shifted in Denver’s favor with most of the betting action going their way early. The over/under is at 46, but OddShark’s simulator shows a Chiefs blowout win. Good thing they also had a Texans blowout win last week.

Whether the Broncos win or lose, they are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, while the Chiefs are 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 games against teams with losing records.

For rookie Drew Lock, he will face his toughest test of the season in this game. Arrowhead will be rocking with all sorts of undesirable Chiefs fans and, of course, they’ll be there to see Patrick Mahomes do Patrick Mahomes kind of things. I personally expect a loss, but I hope to see the team play well and for Lock to play well.

This one just feels like it’ll be a closer kind of game. I would have absolutely bet on the 10.5-point spread, but maybe not so much at 9.5. What do you think?
