As expected, the Denver Broncos will be without Adam Gotsis who has been placed on injured reserve, Ja’Wuan James and Ron Leary as the team hosts the Detroit Lions in Week 16. The bigger concern is the health of Dalton Risner who has been battling a bug this week.
If he isn’t able to go, Patrick Morris will take his spot at left guard in this game. The illness has spread to other players as well, with Kyle Peko, Connor McGovern, Austin Schlottmann, and even Drew Lock coming down with the bug. Noah Fant was also added to that illness list.
It would appear the last three were just added to the injury report today and if this illness is bad enough to keep Risner battling all week then it might not bode well for Denver come Sunday. This is something we will be keeping an eye on over the next 48 hours.
