The Denver Broncos (5-9) are hosting the Detroit Lions (3-10-1) in Week 16. Here are your live updates for this game.

Live Game Updates

Pre Game

A strong finish is what the Broncos have left to play for as they host the Lions this week. Detroit has lost 10 of 11 games and will be starting an undrafted rookie quarterback here, so this is a game Denver should be able to handle.

The key here will be for Drew Lock and the Broncos offense to get points on the board early to keep the pressure on David Blough. If they can do that, then the Broncos defense might have a field day with him.

For the Lions, they will obviously be looking to establish a ground attack against a depleted Denver interior defensive line. That will be the key for Denver as they look to limit the damage on the ground and force Blough into unfavorable passing situations.

That is why getting an early lead and keeping the pressure on with the score will make a huge difference between a close game and a game that could get away from Detroit.
