The Denver Broncos (6-9) have a chance to take control of second place in the AFC West with a win at home over the Oakland Raiders (7-8) here in the final game of the 2019 regular season. There is also the potential for an added bonus of knocking their division rival out of playoff contention, since there is a crazy scenario where the Raiders could backdoor their way into the playoffs.
Also at stake for the Raiders is their move from 30th to a 29th place tie for the best record in the NFL since the year 2000. That is something that just can’t be allowed.
The Raiders need a win and a Jaguars loss to move into a tie for the 29th best record in the NFL since 2000.

Big game for them this week. https://t.co/BbmdrqCRHd
With a win, the Broncos would move into second place in the AFC West. It’s a small consolation prize, but finishing the season 7-5 after that 0-4 start is a positive development and something this franchise can build on heading into 2020.
Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
