The Denver Broncos opened 7.5-point underdogs to the Houston Texans, but the line has shifted all week and now stands at a full 9-point spread. The good news is that Vic Fangio’s team is 4-1 against the spread over their last five games. The Texans are also 2-6-1 against the spread over their last night and have not covered a single spread when they were over touchdown favorites.
That bodes well for a closer game, but the Broncos haven’t won many of those close games in 2019. So far, 52% of the bets have gone towards Houston.
The over/under here is 41.5 and that is one that I might take the under on if I were the betting type. The Broncos defense has proven it can limit teams scoring, but the Texans are fresh off a butt whipping of the league-leading New England Patriots defense, so that is also something to take into consideration.
Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV.
