Update: The Broncos dismantled the Texans to a 38-24 victory.
Drew Lock got a win in his first start for the Denver Broncos, but will face much stiffer competition in his second start as the team travels to take on an AFC contender in the Houston Texans in Week 14.
As Head Coach Vic Fangio noted on Wednesday, Lock will need to be a little more accurate with his throwing.
“Just some better throws in some situations, a little bit more accuracy,” Fangio said. “Just general improvement all the way across the board. Obviously, the one thing that everybody noticed is the throws. I thought he missed a couple the other day, but that’s to be expected. Hopefully he misses less this game.”
If Denver somehow wins this game, we could see a huge surge in fan excitement over the new quarterback change. But really, we should all just be hoping for solid improvement and competitive football for 60 minutes. Win or lose, if we see that, then fans should feel pretty good about the direction of the football team.
Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV.
