Drew Lock will have a brutal test in just his second NFL start as the Denver Broncos (4-8) take on the Houston Texans (8-4) on the road in Week 14. Not only will Lock have his hands full, but the Broncos defense will as well.
Deshaun Watson is already a superstar in the NFL, if an underrated one with all the hype that other young quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes get. He shredded the NFL’s top ranked defense last week in the New England Patriots, which will put Denver’s defense on edge here in this game.
If, somehow, they can keep the score low then perhaps the Broncos sometimes good and sometimes horrible offense a chance to put up enough points to make a game of this. Either way, if Lock can show he can rise to the challenge in a big game and play well for a rookie, then we should come out of this game encouraged either way.
