Since the trade for Joe Flacco, a fun question has been bounced around.
What do the Denver Broncos do with their No. 10 pick in the NFL Draft? Does John Elway still look to trade up to get “his guy?” Does he stand pat and the let the board fall as it does and take their best player (Devin White, please)? Or, in the case of Trevor Sikkema and his latest mock draft, do the Broncos trade down and get more capital?
On Friday’s 1st & 10 @ 10, Sikkema joined the guys to chat about his mock and his thoughts on Elway and Denver trading down. Sikkema has the Broncos trading with the Tennessee Titans for the No. 19 pick in the first round, No. 83 (third round) and the No. 157 for the No. 10 pick. With the pick, Sikkema has the Broncos taking Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. The only way I see that happening is if every potential first-round target is off Denver’s board. I see no way Elway trades down if White or Ed Oliver is there to select.
What will help give us more clarity is who Elway and the Broncos interview at the combine next week in Indianapolis, and then who they sign in free agency when the league year starts on March 13th.

I joined the guys to talk about the Joe Flacco trade, who of Denver’s current free agents they should bring back and what I think the plan for free agency should be.
