The Denver Broncos have officially signed a quarterback to back-up Joe Flacco with the teams one-year deal with Kevin Hogan.
Hogan, 26, is a fourth-year player out of Stanford who was drafted in the fifth round by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has appeared in a couple of games with the Cleveland Browns in 2016-17 completing 60/101 passes for 621 yards with four touchdown passes and seven interceptions.
The door is still open for the Broncos to draft a quarterback to compete for that back-up position behind Flacco, but this at least positions them with a back-up in place in case the NFL Draft doesn’t quite head in that direction.
