The NFL has announced its 2019 regular season schedule. The Denver Broncos will look to improve from their back-to-back double digit loss seasons with a new quarterback and a new head coach.
Last year, we thought having the toughest games at home would be a good thing. It was not. This year is a bit different with a big easier home schedule, which hopefully will lead to more wins.
Here is a breakdown of the Broncos schedule for 2019:

Opening on Monday Night Football against the Oakland Raiders should be fun. Perhaps Joe Flacco can reproduce the same opening night magic Jay Cutler had in 2008 on the road against the Raiders on Monday Night Football when the Broncos walked out with a 41-14 beatdown win.
New Broncos head coach Vic Fangio will get to welcome his former team in the Chicago Bears as the two teams square off at Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Week 2.
There are two stretches on this schedule that will be brutal. From Weeks 7-9 against the Chiefs, Colts, and Browns and then again in early December in Weeks 13-15 against the Chargers, Texans, and Chiefs again. If they get through one of those stretches with a .500 record, then they could pick up enough wins to compete in 2019.
Finishing the season at home against the Raiders is perfect. Oakland is expected to not be very good, so if the Broncos can scrap together enough wins they might be position to need a win to close out the season and make the playoffs. One could hope, anyway.

Last year, the Broncos entered the season with the 25th ranked schedule and finished with just six wins. With new head coach Vic Fangio and new quarterback Joe Flacco, the Broncos will get no such break in 2019 as they will have the second toughest schedule in the NFL. Not that the strength of schedule matters, since the Broncos had the toughest strength of schedule heading into 2017 and won five games.
