NFL Network’s lead draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his latest mock draft on Tuesday and gave the Broncos former LSU linebacker, Devin White.

Many assume and/or believe that White will be a top 5 pick in next week’s NFL Draft so this would be a surprising get, but a good one for the Broncos. Here is how Jeremiah believes the top 10 will go.
- Cardinals - QB Kyler Murray
- 49ers - EDGE Nick Bosa
- Jets - DT Ed Oliver
- Raiders - DT Quinnen Williams
- Buccaneers - EDGE Josh Allen
- Giants - QB Daniel Jones
- Jaguars - OT Jawaan Taylor
- Lions - G Jonah Williams
- Bills - TE T.J. Hockenson
- Broncos - ILB Devin White
Looking at how this board fell here for the Broncos, White would likely be the best available player on their board. Here is Jeremiah’s reasoning for the White selection.
I know the Broncos have done a lot of homework on the quarterbacks in this draft, but I just can’t envision them taking a QB here before they get a chance to see what Joe Flacco looks like in this offense. Instead, they go with the top LB available.
The inside linebacker position is a very important one for Vic Fangio’s defense and someone like White could step in and be an instant impact starter for them. He still needs some development and is a bit raw, but all the physical tools are there for him to be an All-Pro level middle linebacker down the road.
Now, as I said earlier, I don’t think White makes it to 10th overall. There are reports/rumors/whispers that the Raiders like White and the Bucs interest in him has been well documented. However, it is the draft and stranger things have happened so this scenario isn’t out of question.
This pick would make the fan base happy and likely make Head Coach Vic Fangio one happy sweat pant wearing man.
