Report: Chris Harris believes something gets done soon

According to the Denver Post’s Ryan O’Halloran, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. told him that he belives “something’s going to happen soon”.

It’s likely this means a trade since the Broncos have been fielding trade offers for Harris since his demands were made public last night. 9NEW’S Denver’s Mike Klis says the Broncos are not giving Harris away for nothing, so hopefully they can get something of value for Harris.

It makes sense that the Broncos and whoever is making the trade wants to get this done quickly. Any deal likely effects their draft plans for tomorrow night and through the weekend, so sooner the better here. Especially for an All-Pro talent like Harris.

As for compensation, I am optimistically holding out for a late first-rounder in exchange for Harris, but a day two selection at least is probably more likely.
