After trading back from the 10th overall spot to the 20th overall spot with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Denver Broncos wasted no time in drafting Iowa tight end Noah Fant. He has been a very productive tight end and the second one of the board behind former teammate T.J. Hockenson went in the Top 10.
After the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft was completed, John Elway said, “Speed tight ends can be very effective in this offense.”
He went on to talk about George Kittle and how well he played under new Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello with the San Francisco 49ers.
This could end up being an elite offensive pick for Denver.
