With the Alliance for American Football going under, players have been left holding their bags. However, some of them gained enough attention from the league to catch on else where. One such player, De’Vante Bausby, led the league in interceptions and made some big plays. Enough so that the Denver Broncos have signed him.
Bausby, 26, played all season for the San Antonio Commanders finishing their eight-game season with 4 interceptions and 10 pass defenses. He also had a two-point conversion score that won’t go down as either an interception, a pass defense, or a touchdown. But it was still a hell of a play.

According to Pro Football Focus, he locked down receivers so well that opposing quarterbacks could muster just a 41.6 passer rating when targeting him. The six foot, 183 pound cornerback could compete on this Broncos roster as a solid depth option.
He may just be fodder from a defunct AAF league, but it will still be interesting to see how he does in training camp this Summer.

MHR Live is also back and doing it on Twitch. So far, I can’t express how fun this is and will be. As a fan (of whatever - gaming, Broncos, etc), the Twitch chat section is the only place I’ve enjoyed spending time in as much as SB Nation’s comment section. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We’ve got some big plans for this channel, so please give us a follow over there and stay tuned!
