The Denver Broncos will have two former legends announce their 2019 NFL Draft picks in the second and third rounds.
With the 41st overall pick, Al Wilson will take the podium to make the call. Wilson played eight seasons in Denver as a former 31st overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft. His career ended short with a neck injury that left him and the team at odds for more than a decade. Hopefully this means that time has passed and soon Wilson will find himself in the Broncos Ring of Fame.
He’ll always be a big time fan favorite in my book.
The other legend, Karl Mecklenburg, needs no introduction as he just got finished making another run at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’ll announce the Broncos third round pick.
The 2019 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m. Mile High time.
