The Denver Broncos are facing the second hardest strength of schedule this season and are coming off a disappointing 6-10 season, so it would be safe to assume we’re in for some bad news about the overall odds for the Broncos from oddsmakers.

Early odds show the Broncos are touchdown or worse underdogs in five games, with a sixth close. That is pretty rough. They are only favored in five games next season and all are at home, but only one of those is above the three-point advantage the home team usually receives. That means they are truly only favored in one game next year.
That feels completely absurd.
The underdog mantra powered the 2015 Broncos to a Super Bowl title, so I am more than happy to see Vegas and other teams sleep on these Broncos. New Head Coach Vic Fangio is a no nonsense style of coach, which means every game is going to be dog fight. All we have to wait and see for is how many dogs this team has. I suspect there are enough.
