NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright joined the guys on 1st & 10 at 10 on Orange & Blue 760 today to discuss a bevy of topics across the NFL and the Broncos.
One of the things they talked about towards the end of the segment was particularly interesting, and I wanted to you get ya’lls take on it.
Allbright was asked about one potential sleeper on offense and defense that may not be on most fans’ radars who could emerge in training camp, and eventually solidify a roster slot.
He mentioned wide receiver Aaron Burbridge on offense, and cornerback De’Vante Bausby on defense. We’ve talked about Bausby some, but Burbridge is an interesting one. As a former 49er who has familiarity with both Scangarello and his scheme, and a standout special teamer, Burbridge could potentially stick on the roster as a depth guy at receiver.
Mine would be a guy like Chaz Green or Don Barclay providing depth at OT/OG, or Alexander Johnson coming along at linebacker.
Who would be your sleepers, or darkhorse candidates to shine in training camp who could sneak onto the roster?
