Denver Broncos star cornerback Chris Harris Jr. was on The Jim Rome Show on Tuesday to discuss the team and new head coach Vic Fangio. He had nothing but great things to say about Fangio’s coaching style and approach.
“He’s had control over the whole defense,” Harris said of Fangio. “He is able to coach up every position and explain everything in detail of how you need to do it. So everything is clear cut. There’s nothing gray and that’s what I like about him. He’s all about business and I’ve had coaches like that before. I’ve been able to work great with them.”
Harris went on to talk about how much this defense is going to benefit the cornerback position.
“It’s the perfect defense for a corner, especially for me,” Harris said. “I can blitz, I get to do everything that I’ve been doing and more. He has the right scheme to get a lot of interceptions, like we’ve seen with the Bears.”
The Broncos defense is going to be an underrated unit in the NFL. They’ve had the talent and now they have the coaching to match. It should be a fun year for them.
