NFL: Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports published his Top 100 NFL players of 2019 list and three Denver Broncos made it into his list, which included Von Miller who ranked fourth overall. The other two were also defenders in Chris Harris Jr. and second-year edge rusher Bradley Chubb.

4. Von Miller

He continues to be the best edge rusher in the league. He had 14.5 sacks last season with four forced fumbles.

34. Chris Harris

He is the best slot corner in the league and has been that for a while. He is playing on a one-year deal that should turn into a mega-deal in 2020.

91. Bradley Chubb

He proved to be a nice bookend for Von Miller in his rookie season. I expect a big jump this season.

The core of the defense is these three players and I couldn’t really argue against where any of these guys ended up on this list.

As for the rest of the AFC West, the Los Angeles Chargers led the entire league with eight players in the Top 100. The Kansas City Chiefs were hot on their tail with six, although Tyreek Hill at 24th may not factor into the equation in 2019. Bringing up the rear were the Oakland Raiders who landed just two players on Prisco’s list.
