Emmanuel Sanders close to getting back to form

In an Instagram post, Emmanuel Sanders showed video of him beginning to run routes again.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders tore his Achilles in practice on December 5, 2018. It was feared he could be out well into the 2019 season. However, in a recent Instagram video, it sure looks like Sanders is going to be back to form by Week 1 - if not sooner.

Back on March 10, he let it be known that he was way ahead of schedule according to trainers. That tweet has since been deleted, but it would appear he wasn’t exaggerating. The Broncos have a young, inexperienced wide receiver corps. Sanders is the veteran of the group and having him on the field Week 1 would be a huge positive for the offense.

Sanders, 32, has one year remaining on his deal and is scheduled to make $10.25 million this year. He’ll definitely want to be out there proving to the Broncos and other teams that he has gas left in the tank heading into the 2020 offseason.
