The Denver Broncos have a very productive Day 1 of training camp. Head Coach Vic Fangio noted that practices early on will look a lot like the practices they had during OTAs. They will be expanding the scope of these practices with each passing day.

The highlights from Day 1 included some impressive play from rookie Juwann Winfree and second-year cornerback Isaac Yiadom. The low point came when linebacker Todd Davis limped off the field with what would be a partially torn calf. He is expected to be out for 3-4 weeks.

On the quarterback side of things, Joe Flacco and Drew Lock both looked good, while Kevin Hogan struggled. The biggest highlight was Phillip Lindsay taking the first handoff in camp to the roar of the crowd.
