This aims to be one heck of a week for Broncos Country

It’s time to get excited! Football returns to Broncos Country.

Football is happening this week.

On Thursday, the long wait for Broncos football will be over. While most of the recognizable names will be in civvies on the sideline, there will still be plenty to look for. While heavy doses of Kevin Hogan at quarterback may not be your cup of tea, there are other position battles that will be on display. With depth questions at tight end, receiver, at running back, and others, Thursday’s game is going to be a terrific opportunity for Broncos Country to find this year’s underdog long-shot.

Then there’s Saturday’s Hall of Fame enshrinement. It seems like most years, great Broncos and their fans are on the outside looking in as not-Broncos players get their nod at immortality. That’s not the case this year. With Champ Bailey and Pat Bowlen both being enshrined, it’s going to be amazing seeing not one, but TWO Broncos legends get their due. This Saturday has all the potential to be as exciting, emotional, and fulfilling as anything Broncos Country has experienced without players in pads.

...and Mile High Report will be there.

Photographer Casey Barrett and I are heading to Canton to cover the tremendous celebration of great Broncos past, present, and future. Casey and I will document this historic weekend through the lens of his camera, articles from yours truly, and, if we can swing the logistics in Canton, special Mile High Report podcasts. It’s going to be an unforgettable week.
