It looks like Drew Lock’s first preseason is coming to a premature end. After suffering a hand injury in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, reports now suggest he suffered a bad sprain.
The good news is he won’t need surgery, the bad news is he’ll miss time - possibly even the rest of the preseason.
Following his MRI, #Broncos rookie QB Drew Lock was diagnosed with a bad sprain, source said. But the good news is, no surgery is required. He’s obviously going to miss some time.

The injury all but cements the Denver Broncos will carry three quarterbacks into the Week 1 season opener against the Oakland Raiders.
