With the Denver Broncos lengthy Training Camp and Preseason schedule now concluded, it is time to move our focus to which roster cuts will and will not be made this weekend.
In the past, there were two sets of roster down dates. One cutting the roster down to 75 and one final one cutting the roster down to the final 53. Well, after a rule change, there’s only one set of cuts and by 4 p.m. ET(2 p.m. MT) on Saturday, all NFL rosters must cut down their roster from 90 players to 53 players. That means that roughly 1,180+ players will be hitting the waiver wire, released, or traded in the next 24 to 48 hours.
There will likely be a handful of surprise cuts around the league, some trades, and potentially some big trades. We also start seeing some Broncos roster moves being made as soon as today. Some of those moves may include finding a backup quarterback via the waiver wire, free agency, or even a trade. I would also expect a few additions to made to fortify a few weaker spots on the roster.

- On Monday, the Broncos released both DL Zach Kerr and OLB Dekoda Watson. (Source)
