The Broncos have officially parted ways with edge backer Dadi Nicolas after signing him on August 21st.
Updated: The Broncos have also parted ways with rookie undrafted free agent Ahmad Gooden.
One more waived/injured Broncos transaction: OLB/DE Dadi Nicolas has been moved off roster, per source. He too suffered an injury in preseason game last night. #9sports

It wouldn't surprise me if Ahmad Gooden is a guy the #Broncos try to keep on the practice squad.

With Nicolas’ departure, there are only five remaining edge rushers on the current roster. Von Miller and Bradley Chubb are obviously locked in. Justin Hollins probably isn’t going anywhere after being one of the most promising rookies this preseason.
Vic Fangio said Malik Reed will make the team last night.
“Anytime an undrafted college free agent comes in and makes your team and plays good, it’s always nice to see and it is a surprise no matter what anyone else would tell you. I’m happy for him. I’m happy for us.”
It isn’t a surprise Ahmad Gooden has been cut because of how tight other positions on the roster are. It could be brought back as a member of the Broncos practice squad, after all he’s had some promising moments this preseason but his status largely depends on many of the tighter battles on the roster.
Ahmad Gooden (94) hasn't gotten the recognition other #Broncos rookies have, but he's been quietly promising and has stood out on special teams. Could see him as a priority stash on the practice squad and come back once others get healthy. pic.twitter.com/szDOHbKh3H
