Report: Broncos looking to re-sign linebacker Corey Nelson

A depth move at inside linebacker could be coming.

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

According to KOA News Radio’s Brandon Krisztal, the Denver Broncos are going to bring in former Bronco linebacker Corey Nelson in for a physical with hopes of re-signing him.

Nelson who was recently released by the Bucs would fill a key special teams role that has been left vacated by Joe Jones who is out due to injury.

This isn’t the former Broncos linebacker many assumed that they would re-sign, but it appears to be a valuable depth move for them.

More on this story soon.
