The NFL preseason schedule is kicking into high gear as the Denver Broncos head right into their second game of the preseason this Thursday against the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos also updated their training camp schedule to remove the remaining afternoon practices.

Head Coach Vic Fangio was asked yesterday who he thought stood out in the game the Broncos played last week and he mentioned rookies Dre’Mont Jones and Malik Reed.

“The guys that played well I was thinking they would,” Fangio said. “‘Dre’ (Dre’Mont Jones) played well on the D-Line. I thought some of the other guys - Malik Reed had some good plays. Overall, I thought the guys played well, especially on the defensive side.”

The defense definitely played well for most of the game. The offense was another story. While the offensive line seemed to play well, there just didn’t seem to be a rhythm overall. That is something we’ll need to see once Joe Flacco gets a chance to run the offense in a preseason game.

Stay tuned to Mile High Report as Broncos camp continues.
