A lot of reserve players got a ton of reps last week during the Hall of Fame Game, which will turn out to be a great opportunity for them to make their case for the final 53-man roster in a few weeks. However, we’re going to start seeing less of them and more of the starters moving forward.

The Denver Broncos are playing on the road in what is technically Week 1 of the preseason. They’ll take on the Seattle Seahawks on this game. Most starters will get some playing time, but it has been confirmed that Russell Wilson will not be playing. In his stead, the Broncos will face Geno Smith and then Paxton Lynch.

We’ll also get our first look at new Broncos’ quarterback Joe Flacco, which is one thing Broncos Country has been waiting for since they traded for him back in February. If you live on the East Coast, however, you may want to watch the game this weekend. It’s a late one!

Here is how to watch.

Matchup History

The Broncos have faced the Seahawks quite a bit in the preseason over the years. While they do have a 10-3 record all-time against them in the preseason, that domination came early as Denver started 7-0 in preseason contests with Seattle up until 2009. From then on, they have split things up.
