The Denver Broncos opened a 6.5 point underdog to the Green Bay Packers, but a home loss to the Chicago Bears last week has pushed the line upwards in favor of the home team in Week 3.
As of this writing, the line is at +8 for Bovada, but is up to +9.5 in other places. Vegas is definitely down on the Broncos and they likely have good reason to be. They now have to contend with Aaron Rodgers and surprisingly strong Packers pass defense.
The over/under is currently at 42.5, down from 48.5 upon open.
In a game of match-ups, I actually like the Broncos chances to catch Green Bay by surprise. While the Packers pass defense is in the Top 3 through two weeks, their run defense is at the bottom of the league. If there ever was a game to hand the ball of to Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman all day it would be this one.
