In Week 3, the Denver Broncos (0-2) are desperately looking for their first win of the season as they take on the undefeated Green Bay Packers (2-0) on the road.
The game will feature a battle of wits between Aaron Rodgers and the Broncos defense. The last time these two met was in 2015, when a championship defense completely shut Rodgers down in one of the future Hall-of-Famers worst games as a pro. The defense this year will be a little mismatched, but they can count on one thing - Chris Harris Jr. will be shadowing the Packers best wide receiver in Devante Adams.
“He’s great,” Harris said of Adams on Tuesday. “He’s a great receiver. He has great releases and great hands. Him and Aaron Rodgers have great chemistry. What’s another great word? They just kind of know where—it’s just great connection. It’s like they’re twins. It’s like they have a different sense, the same senses of each other. They just know where to be. He just knows how to get open. It’s going to definitely be a great challenge for me this week going up there and challenging him, but it’s nothing I haven’t done before.”
Harris will need to rise to that challenge to keep the Packers offense contained enough for Joe Flacco and the offense to put some points on the board. They’ll need points if they are to come out on top in this game.
Game time is on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Mile High time at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
