Update: The Broncos lost 27-16 to the Packers.

With heavy rainfall all through the morning, the field conditions could be a bit sloppy for the Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers in this game. Hopefully that means the Broncos defense will have an easier time stopping Aaron Rodgers’ passing attack.

For the Broncos to be successful offensively, they will need to attack the Packers defense in a ground and pound kind of way. I’d like to see Royce Freeman get 20 plus carries in this game with Phillip Lindsay getting another 10-12. Utilizing Lindsay in the passing game could create some explosive play opportunities as well.

Defensively, the Broncos pass rush absolutely needs to show up in this game. Keep Rodgers from getting in any kind of rhythm is going to be vital to keeping the game close and winnable for Denver.
