The Denver Broncos injury participation report for Week 1 is a short one, but it is actually worse than it looks. Three impact players are likely out for Week 1 in Andy Janovich on offense, Joe Jones on special teams, and Todd Davis on defense.
Head Coach Vic Fangio noted that inside linebacker Todd Davis didn’t practice on Friday, but when asked about cornerback Bryce Callahan he noted that the new Broncos’ cornerback is doing fine coming back from his injury.
“He’s been OK,” Fangio said of Callahan on Friday. “We’ve been managing his time out there. Overall he’s been doing fine.”
Whether or not that means he’ll be active for the Monday Night Football game against the Oakland Raiders is another matter.
On the Raiders side of things, they handed the entire franchise over to Antonio Brown. So whatever Antonio Brown wants, Antonio Brown gets. He’ll start, but who cares. We all know that marriage is going to sour rather quickly once Brown gets his guaranteed money.
Let’s take a look at the full participation report for Friday.
