Shelby Harris has the potential to be a game-changer.
If the Denver Broncos defensive tackle is able to get consistent pressure up the middle, that makes the Orange Rush (hoodie and T-shirt) that much more difficult to block and contain. It’s another tool in Vic Fangio’s and Ed Donatell’s tool belts to slow down opposing offenses.
As we inch closer to the Monday night opener at the Oakland Raiders, Harris joined Benjamin Allbright and Ryan Edwards for Broncos Country Tonight on KOA News Radio to preview the game.
As Ryan pointed out, the Raiders could be without two guards and that would seemingly help Harris and the interior defensive line.
“Obviously, you just got to watch a little different film,” Harris told the guys. “But they don’t have the two guards doesn’t change their game plan. You still have the same preparation, you just have to watch different people.”
If Denver’s defense is as good as most in Broncos Country believe it is, Harris will play a huge role in that. He has the opportunity to be a complete game-wrecker.
