No more waiting.

After being eliminated from the playoffs following their week 15 loss to the Cleveland Browns, football with purpose has been missing in Broncos Country. That’s when the wait began. The wait for the season to be over. The wait for Vance Joseph to be fired. The wait that preceded Vic Fangio’s hiring. The wait to flesh out his coaching staff. The wait for free agency to begin. The wait for the draft. The wait for training camp. The wait for the first preseason game. The wait for the longest preseason in recent memory to end. Then there was the wait for Monday night.

I am sick and tired of waiting.

In mere hours, that wait will be over. For the first time in nearly 9 months, there will be something on the field for Broncos Country root for. Are you pumped to see Vic Fangio’s Broncos? Will Joe Flacco return to his prior ‘elite’ form? Will Mike Munchak fix the line woes that have plagued Denver in season’s past? How many quarterbacks will Bradley Chubb and Von Miller eat this year?

Not all these questions will be answered in Oakland against the Raiders, but there will be glimpses at just who these 2019 Denver Broncos will be.

I can’t wait.
