The Denver Broncos are on the road in Week 1 in a Monday Night Football showdown with the Oakland Raiders at RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland, California.
On defense, the Broncos will be down a few key starters in inside linebacker Todd Davis and cornerback Bryce Callahan. Both of them have barely played all training camp and through preseason, so the defensive unit right now might be used to the guys they’ve been practicing with so far.
The Broncos defense won’t have to contend with Raiders guard Gabe Jackson, which should help the pass rush on Derek Carr. The pass rush is going to be needed on the road, because it might be difficult to get the offense going in this one.
