The Broncos will have a busy offseason in 2020

Broncos Country Tonight covers a lot of news with Andrew Mason

When Randy Gradishar was left off the Pro Football Hall of Fame Centennial class, it was pretty hard for many in Broncos Country to take. The lack of representation for the Denver Broncos in the Hall of Fame continues to be a point of frustration for many fans. Andrew Mason Joined Ryan and Ben on BCT, and he took a little bit of time to discuss Gradishar’s snub.

By now you’ve seen all the stats and heard all the rants, but it’s not so difficult to understand how worthy Gradishar was for the Hall of Fame. In the end, the wait continues. The concern turns to how this impacts Steve Atwater’s chances to get in to the Hall of Fame. As Mase said, Broncos Country might burn the whole place down if Atwater is kept out of Canton for another season.

On the more current front, Mase broke down the hire of Pat Shurmur. The most important takeaway is likely that with the hire, the terminology won’t change. For all the people worried about continuity, keeping nomenclature the same, but designing a more aggressive game plan should help the development of Drew Lock and the rest of the young Broncos offense.

Finally, the guys discussed Mase’s trip to the Shrine Bowl. With the NFL Draft on the offseason horizon it is going to be a big topic moving forward.
