The Denver Broncos (0-3) are set to square off on the road against the New York Jets (0-3) in a battle of winless teams on Thursday Night Football.
Denver named Brett Rypien the starter this week, which cause the Vegas odds to drop from 2.5-points to 1-point in favor of the Broncos in this game. However, with Blake Bortles still learning the offense it was either that or Jeff Driskel. Between the two options, Rypien had the better game last week.
“We’ve had a year and two training camps with Brett, and we think he deserves a chance to see what he can do here as the starter,” Head Coach Vic Fangio said on Tuesday. “Other than the last throw on Sunday—which was a bad throw and a bad read—he played pretty good in there, so we want to see if that can continue.”
Kickoff is set for 6:20 p.m. Mile High time on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on your local FOX station.
