After a long 18 day wait, the Denver Broncos are finally back on the field to play football. They will take on the New England Patriots on the road this week and Drew Lock will return to the field after missing two games.

In-game updates

Preview

The Broncos received an unexpected Bye Week last week when the NFL postponed the game due to multiple COVID-19 outbreaks to Patriot starters Cam Newton and Stephon Gilmore. Both could be playing this week and despite several more outbreaks to back-up players on the Patriots roster, the NFL has said game on.

Denver had their own COVID-19 positive a few days ago to running backs coach Curtis Modkins, while Melvin Gordon is also out with a strep illness. At 1-3, this is a must-win football game for Denver. They play AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs next week for a chance to reach .500.
