Good morning, Broncos Country!
Sure it was a battle between the “most beatens.”
Sure it was rather sloppy with tons of facepalm moments.
Sure the record is still only 1-3.
The Broncos at 1-3 are actually off to a better start than last year.

Doesn’t matter.
The “tank for Trevor” crowd will be quieted for a day (or at least a few minutes) while a beaten-up Broncos team and its fans can revel in the first win of 2020.
“We needed this one a lot. It wasn’t a pretty win, but it still was a win,” Jerry Jeudy said after the game. “We just have to build on the momentum.”
Head coach Vic Fangio could not agree more.
“Winning has cured more ills than penicillin,” he told the media after the 37-28 victory over the Jets. “It gives them confidence they can go out there and win a game and hopefully we can build on it.”
GOT THE DUB‼️

Because that’s exactly what the players are doing after turning in a gutsy performance for an away game on Thursday Night Football:
The Broncos showed tons of fight in a game where rookie Jerry Jeudy caught his first NFL touchdown pass from Brett Rypien (who was throwing his first NFL touchdown pass); Tim Patrick showed us he’s probably a No. 1 wide receiver on half the teams in the NFL; Melvin Gordon proved why his $8 million this year isn’t so bad; Josey Jewell had a helluva night; Devanté Bausby may have played into the No. 3 cornerback spot; and Bradley Chubb reminded us what outside edge rushers can do.
Although the schedule only gets far tougher from here on out, it was nice to see the Broncos celebrate the “dub.”
