Close game on the horizon for Chiefs at Broncos

Kansas City will be a big test for the Broncos on Sunday, but there are opportunities for Denver to exploit matchups and stay competitive.

Five years is a long time.

Yet that’s how long it’s been since the Denver Broncos last beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

The last time the Broncos beat Kansas City? Week 2 of the 2015 regular season. Every game Denver has played in this rivalry since then has been a Chiefs win.

Is Sunday finally the time that Drew Lock and the Broncos finally beat the Chiefs?

On the MHR Radio Podcast, Adam Malnati and I both think Denver (2-3) will keep it close; especially closer than the odds currently suggest.

And we both think there are ways for the Broncos to give them a puncher’s chance on Sunday. However, after we both predicted a Denver win over the Chiefs last season, neither of us think an upset is in the cards.

But this is 2020, so who knows what the heck will happen?
