Broncos Country growing more confident with each win

Fans are feeling a bit more confident in the direction of the team after back-to-back wins, but the Denver Broncos face a tough test in Week 7.

After two consecutive wins, the Denver Broncos are just one game away from getting back to .500 on the season. Fans were asked in our SB Nation Reacts survey how confident they felt about the direction of the team and 72% are liking it. In fact, that chart is starting to look like a V-shape recovery a bit there.

The team will face one of their toughest tests of the season as they host AFC West foe and defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The game will be played in the snow, so the weather could help Denver’s defense contain the high-powered Chiefs offense.

“It possibly could,” Head Coach Vic Fangio said this week, “It all depends until we get there on Sunday and see the exact conditions we’ll be playing in, the conditions of the field. When we played them in that second game last year and it snowed, I didn’t really think the—it looked worse than it was—I didn’t think that it affected the offenses too much. It didn’t affect theirs for sure. It could, but I don’t think you can answer that until you actually see what you’re dealing with.”

Anything to slow down Patrick Mahomes and that speedy offense would be a good thing. Either way, the Broncos will need to play flawlessly to win this game. The team has sustained so many injuries this year to their star players, so the margin for error will be slim.

Who do you think will win this game on Sunday?
