Broncos are at a fork in the road heading into the Chargers game

Here’s hoping Drew Lock and the Broncos take the fork that keeps them at the table and allows them to feast.

This may sound cliche, but the Denver Broncos are at a fork in the road.

After losses to four of the best teams in the NFL, Drew Lock and 2-4 Denver face the 2-4 Los Angeles Chargers.

Which fork in the road will the Broncos take on Sunday at Mile High Stadium? To give you an idea of what sportsbooks think, Denver is a 3-point underdog. At home.

On the MHR Radio Podcast, Adam Malnati and I previewed the game and which direction we think Denver will take. We both think Lock and the Broncos will be better on Sunday. Take that with a pound of salt since we both thought the game against the Kansas City Chiefs would be close contest. But we think Lock and the offense respond.

What would certainly help on that front is if Phillip Lindsay is able to play. It’s clear that he’s the heart and soul of Denver’s offense. It’s obvious the offense is better with him on the field. All we know at this point is that Lindsay is in the concussion protocol, as Broncos head coach Vic Fangio announced on Monday.
