Good morning, Broncos Country!
Time to give credit where credit is due.
Garett Bolles has been extraordinary the first four games of the Denver Broncos season. When there was criticism of Bolles heading into the season and legit concern over his development, the left tackle has responded in a major way.
It’s huge not just for Bolles and Denver’s offensive line, but the franchise. To say the Broncos have had issues at both tackle positions is a mild understatement. So Bolles answering the bell removes a huge need for John Elway and the organization.
Garett Bolles was the only Broncos OL to not allow any QB pressures, per @PFF. He just keeps stacking one good game on top of another this season.

What’s fun to contemplate is Bolles can get even better.
The way he’s played over the first four games should be a huge boost to his confidence. Offensive line coach Mike Munchak, offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and head coach Vic Fangio can now show him where he can improve and get even more dominant. That’s massive for a player.
The question now is how much did the decision to not pick up Bolles’ fifth-year option cost the Broncos? Probably a lot, but I would say it’s a good problem to have since Bolles is playing so well.
I also think Denver has the cap space to pay whatever it costs to keep Bolles with the Broncos.
But at this point, that’s secondary to the fact Bolles has been phenomenal so far this season.
The left tackle deserves a Mile High Salute.
