If you are seeing BLUE in your region in the map above, you will get the Broncos-Patriots game on your local CBS affiliate. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, however, you will get cut out to watch the Dallas Cowboys play the New York Giants.

The Denver Broncos are coming off their first win of the season and need to follow that up with another to get back on track this season. They have a chance to steal one away from the New England Patriots as they could be down Cam Newton on offense and their star cornerback Stephon Gilmore on defense as both have tested positive for COVID-19.

The NFL is planning to move forward with the game as of Thursday, but that could change if more Patriots players test positive for the virus. Head Coach Vic Fangio has noted that all plans for right now point to a game being played on Sunday.

“I haven’t been told anything along those lines,” Fangio said of possible contingency plans from the NFL. “We’re just confident that the league, along with the players union, is going to handle everything correctly. But nothing has been done or said other than the plan is normal.”

With all of the various outbreaks happening to several teams across the league, Fangio noted the importance that players follow the rules to keep this from affecting their own team.

“We’ve done a good job up to this point, but the key thing is that the message is ‘We can’t get complacent.’ We have to be on our guard at all times when we’re not in this building and around this team. When we’re out in public or at home, we have to assume that the people around us have COVID and act accordingly, which basically means do your social distancing and wear your mask.”

For now, we have a game to watch on Sunday. Let’s all collectively cross our fingers that no one else gets sick between now and then. Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on your local CBS station.
