The Denver Broncos will be without their Defensive Coordinator for today’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Due to COVID-19 protocols, Ed Donatell will not be with the team. It is unknown if that means he has the coronavirus or if he has come into close contact with someone who does.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, Broncos DC Ed Donatell will not coach in today’s game against the Chargers.

Over the last two weeks, the Broncos have had three coaches placed on the COVID-19 protocol. The first was running backs coach Curtis Modkins two weeks ago, then offensive line coach Mike Munchak last week.
To add to that, one player also has been placed on the COVID/Reserve list in offensive guard Graham Glasgow. Two other players went into quarantine due to close contact with Glasgow, but both have tested negative in the two days since.
This is a concern development as the team works to prevent further infections. A one-off type thing is something a team can move on from, but it seems as though we might be see something more than that as the COVID-19 infections rise within the Broncos organization.
