The Denver Broncos will be looking to put last week behind them and also avoid an 0-4 start at home this season as they host AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8.

Preview
Justin Herbert has lit the NFL world on fire statistically through his first five games joining only Patrick Mahomes as the only players to throw for 250 yards or more to start a career. While the Los Angeles Chargers haven’t enjoyed the wins associated with such a start, oddsmakers feel Herbert is good enough to put the Denver Broncos away in Week 8 despite both teams being 2-4.
The Broncos defense, without Defensive Coordinator Ed Donatell, will need to frustrate and harass Herbert all day. Drew Lock and the offense will need to bounce back in a big time way. If both things happen then I think Denver has the talent to win this game easily. We’ll just have to see how it plays out, because nothing is a sure thing when it comes to the 2020 Broncos.
